So-- I've got the first half of my patchwork Coach done in time for Whiplash Week 6, theme: Colour!! This has been my biggest counterfeit crochet challenge yet. I decided to use cotton, to mimic the original fabric. The pattern I kind of just made up as I went along...but all in single crochet stitch this time--no fancy pattern stitches. It's more of an interpretation than a copy.... But, I think I like it...

I like it! The style or effect crocheted look is different from the original, but I have to say, I like it better. It looks so textured and sophisticated. This is a great technique for coming up with a really sophisticated texture. Very nice.
